INDIANAPOLIS -
There are two numbers on the mind of Jeff Gordon as he makes his way to Indianapolis this weekend.
For Thursday, that was eight, as in the number of charity bowling tournaments that his foundation has put on in Indianapolis for Riley Hospital for children. The event at the Western Bowl drew fellow Sprint Cup driver Kurt Busch and has helped to raise 1.5 million dollars for the hospital.
"I know how well that money is put to use," said Gordon of Riley Hospital for Children. "They do incredible things."

So has Gordon when its come to the Brickyard 400, and Sunday gives him the chance to add to current record holding four race wins. Sitting comfortably in second in the points standings, Gordon has his eyes set on No. 5, knowing how a win could benefit his pursuit of a title.
"We're in a position to go after the bonus really set us up well for the chase," said Gordon of the Brickyard 400.

Busch is in the same position, sitting in fourth place as the chase approaches, and hoping to join the ranks of Indianapolis NASCAR champions.
"That gives us a chance to say 'Let's go for the Brickyard 400 win,'" said Busch of his intentions for Sunday's race.
