Most people say defense wins championships. Combine that aspect of the game of football with a loaded offense, and you may just have the perfect team in the Carmel Greyhounds.

Class 5A Carmel defeated the North Central Panthers (1-5) Friday night by the final score of 38-0.

Devin Brinson would steal the show by rushing the ball 23 times for 132 yards and a touchdown, but the Greyhounds offensive attack also received rushing touchdowns from Jesse Hollander and Drew Robertson.

On the defensive side of the ball Carmel only allowed four total first downs, while Ronie Fowlkes returned a 42 yard interception touchdown.
